Did you ever want to help solve this problem, but somehow thought that the problem was a bit too large for one person to handle? well, now together we can work to make a difference. Yes we can! There are many things you may do to support the project by providing any of the following:

-Donating financially to the project - Each Library per community is averagely costed at $30,000.00. We can only embark on a project after the project is fully funded. We encourage you to consider giving as every action takes us closer to our goal of taking a library into a community and potentially life into the dreams of many young people

- Donating Books, furniture, Land, containers, cars, etc - Bear in mind that many items go towards the cost of a project. Donating items therefore reduces the financial cost needed to execute a project and takes us closer to our goal of taking a container library into a container

- Consider offering your expertise. Obviously a lot of work goes into making this dream a reality. You may have skills sets from organizing, to graphic design, to decoration, building, architecture, etc... Offer whatever you can

- Share the page and message. The success of this project depends on our ability to attract the help we need to make it possible. There is always something you can do. If you can not help personally, someone in your network just might be able to. Kindly consider spreading the word...

Important steps

These are the important steps in the life of a project

Choosing a community

We may become aware of a community through recommendation or through our own outreach efforts:

• Identifying and decide on a beneficiary community
• Engage with the communities and individuals to identify possible land
• Work on land acquisition. The land must be fully documented and available to the project for a minimum of 5-10 years. The latter being the most preferable off course and may help make the decision on a benefiting community
• Finalize the design to fit the land size, culture, nature, etc
• Construction may take  1-3 months, depending on a number of factors
• Library opening and upkeep

Funding per project

$30,000.00 per project

To enable a project take off, at least 80% of the needed funding must be raised prior to the take off of the project. The full funding covers full cost of the project per community, including upkeep for at least 6 months.
