The Yaa Asantewa Library project is helping to bring back the culture of reading to Ghanaian kids and we are building and stocking container Libraries in Ghanaian communities. Donate to help us along

Madam Grace Amey Obeng has just committed over 300 books to the Yaa Asantewa Library project we are excited to announce!

House of Safori donates Art-piece to YALP

We are building container Libraries in Ghanain communities! Every child deserves the right to read a book. Help us bring back the culture of reading to our young minds again. And so it is time to put your money where your mouth is! Many of you have said that you will want to support the Yaa Asantewa Library project and it is time to do so! #HouseOfSafori has donated this beautiful work of Art to the project and we would like to sell it to raise money to support the project... the value of the piece is $500 and we will like to sell it a little more... if interested, please email ajoaatta@gmail.com

Suggested communities

4 areas have been suggested for the 1st Libraries. These include communites at Nsawam, Tema, Volta and the North. The team is presently deciding which community will be the first to get the Library, conducted investigations to ensure the intergrity of the land area and its availability for the project.
