The first project takes off in the Upper East Region in the Nyokorkor district. Working with local partners, the Yaa Asantewa Library project hopes to complete this project by March 2018

The team meets up with the regional director of Police in the Upper East Region and takes a visit to the project site to inspect the building to be used to house the Library. We also took the time to speak with the kids in the area... they are definitely excited about this project. See the full video below...

Working in the interest of and in collabortation with the community, we think through a sustanable model to ensure that the young people in the community take full advantage of the project

Container ideas for housing and auxiliary functions are not new and have been used to facilitate manageable spaces. They are easier, quicker and cheaper to install and may have a comparably long life-span. The Yaa Asantewa Library project uses a 40f container or a couple stacked, depending on elements such as funding availbility, size of the community and land, demand, etc
